Mæstro (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Mæstro mobile and web application (“the App”), a gamified music learning platform designed to help users practice instruments regularly and stay engaged.

  • To operate and improve the App
  • To personalize lessons and provide feedback
  • To authenticate users and ensure security
  • To analyze usage and performance (via Vercel Analytics)

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest). Parental consent is required for users under 16.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is securely stored on servers in the EU. We apply encryption and access controls to prevent unauthorized access.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary. Upon account deletion, data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. Sharing of Data

We share limited data with:

We do not share data with advertisers or social media networks.

8. Children’s Privacy

Mæstro is designed for learners of all ages, including users under 16. Parental or guardian consent is required. Data from minors is not used for marketing or profiling.
